COVID-19 OFFICE UPDATE

To All Patients & Friends,

At this time, the office remains OPEN during regular operating hours and will continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving developments related to Coronavirus (COVID-19).  My highest priority continues to be the health and well-being of my patients and I want to keep you aware of the precautions being taken at this time.

• I will continue to diligently implement an updated sanitation program with particular attention to patient treatment equipment, office surfaces, door handles and all points of common contact.

• Only one patient will be treated in the office at a time and there will continue to be no need to wait in reception area for any extended amount of time.

• The Regus Center has increased the cleaning frequency of bathrooms and public spaces.

• I encourage all patients to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to entering the office.  Hand sanitizer will be available for use at the reception desk and in the office.

• I will be using medical gloves during all patient treatment requiring physical contact and continue to wash my hands and/or use hand sanitizer between every patient visit.

• I am requiring any patient who is sick, has been diagnosed with COVID-19, has been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or who has recently traveled to notify the office and reschedule their appointment.

The Florida Department of Health has provided useful information on how to prevent the transmission of Coronavirus and determine if testing is necessary, you may visit the website here.  If you suspect you may be infected, please contact the Florida Department of Health 24 hour call center at 866-779-6121 before traveling to ANY healthcare facility.

Some helpful reminders for all of us:

• Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly, especially before eating and drinking. Wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water and use an alcohol-based (60% or higher) hand sanitizer to kill germs.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth and face with unwashed hands.

• Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. If you use a tissue, properly dispose of it in the trash immediately.

• If you have any cold and flu symptoms, please stay home.

• Increase your immune system response by receiving chiropractic care, minimizing stress, getting adequate sleep, eating a healthy diet high in fruits & vegetables, exercising regularly and taking natural vitamin & herb supplements known to increase immunity such as Vitamin C, Echinacea, Elderberry & Ginseng
